Lil' Wayne the new N.E.R.D.?

I had a day off so I woke up late, put on the telly and ate breakfast in my PJ's. I put on a music channel and heard a beat I liked.
I saw a guy in awesome outfits, kinda rock meets hip-hop. When I looked a little closer I recognized the guy from the song 'lollipop'. It was Lil' Wayne..!

The beat was rocking and the song is called: Let it Rock.

All of a sudden I thought of Pharrel Williams from N.E.R.D. who combines hip-hop with rock. I absolutely think he is awesome. Is this Lil' Wayne following his footsteps in the hope of becoming 'The New Pharrel'?

My first souvenir...

The first thing I had to have while in France was...

FRENCH VOGUE!

Offcourse. It stood there in a french store looking at me. Screeming at me. The entire shop went blurry, all I could see was Vogue. So I had to buy it, right?

I never bought a Vogue in my life before, in Holland we don't have Vogue. I must say, it looks a bit like ELLE, which we 'thank god' do have.

With that Vogue was their 2009 calendar. Theme 'Pin up girls'. (Sorry for the big pictures, hard to get them smaller. If I do, they'll become way too small. So I'll give you both!)

Back from Paris

Here I am. Tired as hell, sounding like a seal (coughing and laughing) but it was absolutely worth it. Paris was Fantabulous.

I saw every museum that I wanted except for the museum where Monet, Manet, Cezanne and Van Gogh are exposed cause the waiting line was around 4 hours and we only had 1 left. So that was too bad.

Offcourse, the shopping was awesome. Lafayette is paradise. The most beautiful shops are placed in this one big and beautiful shopping mall. Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, Clinic, Cartier, Ralph Lauren, Jimmy Choo, Kenzo, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, Tod's, Salvatore Ferragamo and I can go on like this.

Next to LaFayette is Le Printemps which is gorgeous also. When you walk passed it, it is complety lighted with the cutest christmas and newyear lights.

NEWYEAR'S EVE

Le Champs-Elysées was very pretty too. That is were we celebrated New Year's Eve. We bought a good bottle of Champagne, put our cocktail dresses on (unfortunetely it was very cold. We walked around in big coats and scarfs), put on red lipgloss and a little crown and off we went to the Champs-Elysées. With aproximately two milion (for real!) people we stood on the Champs-Elysées were we popped the bottle of champagne and celebrated New Year's Eve.

It was Fantabulous.

Oui, Oui, I'm going to Paris!

Yes, I still can't believe it. Super excited. Tomorrow I'm leaving. Off to Paris. Celebrating Newyear's eve there. I just packed my suitcase and it's stuffed! I put in three cocktail dresses to look Fabulous on the night of 31 decembre, I packed as many clothes as possible. I even took my tiara... Just a little problem, where to stuff my pumps? My fabulous stilleto's that I want to wear? I'll have to get myself another bag next to my suitcase and handluggage. Oh well, no problem. As long as I look fantastic in Paris.
You know what, it is actually sale in Paris. So you know what that means? I'M ON THE LOOSE! Got to buy those to die for Louboutin pumps and absolutely visit Chanel.
I can't wait!

Barbie, dumb?

As you might know my hair is long and blonde. I'm not a big girl and I love to dress nice. The word I very often hear 'thrown' at me is 'Barbie!'. I can get so angry about that, for barbie is known for her airheadness.

It kind of made me think. You know, Barbie DID have her own pet-clinic, her own lawyer-office, her own doctor-set, and I can go on like this. Ken, on the other hand, had nothing. Yeah a suitcase. Nothing more. Just a suitcase.

So, my conclusion, when somebody tries to call you 'Barbie' it's actually a compliment. Barbie is beautiful AND a very bright girl. So there you go. You go Barbie!

PARIS PARIS, I'm going to PARIS!

Yes, my 'Partner in Crime' wat betreft Parijs heeft de tickets binnen!

It is on! Party, Shopping, New-Year's eve, Fashion... allen te vinden Parijs!

Ondanks dat mijn kast volhangt met LBD's en Cocktailjurkjes, kon ik de verleiding niet weerstaan om een nieuw cocktailjurkje voor Parijs aan te schaffen.

Minstens één keer in de week sinds ik hem heb, trek ik hem aan met pumps en een tasje en fantaseer ik over Parijs.

Het is wel duidelijk, erg geduldig ben ik niet.

Winter Wonder Land

When I got up this morning, I saw to my surprise; it snowed outside!

Winter betekent dus weer nieuwe mode, nieuwe trends en nieuwe leuke dingetjes in de winkels.

Zo heb de Snowjoggers van Rubber Duck gespot en die zijn zó tof.

Eigenlijk zijn ze net zo fout als crocs en uggs (stiekem heb ik ook uggs) maar ze zijn toch zo geweldig.

Bont. Ik weet het. Heel fout. Maar het staat wel heel chique. Duidelijk voor nep-bont gaan of voor tweedehands, dat maakt het dan weer enigszins goed.

De afzakmuts. Geweldig en lekker warm.

Minnetonka's. Die zijn echt ge-wel-dig. Ik wil ze nog hebben, en ik ben jaloers op iedereen die ze heeft.

Kortom, veel geld houdt ik niet over deze winter!
